An ambiguous claim
I had a really manic and stressful day at work yesterday. The type of day where so much happens so quickly my mind was left spinning and I couldn’t think straight or even consider making a clear decision. My brain was simply numb. I decided to have a shower and try some of my wife’s Pantene Pro-V “Clarifying” shampoo. That did bugger all to help.
Check the ingredients
I actually came across a packet of crisps the other day that boasted having “authentic ingredients”. I was bowled over by this blatantly obvious statement that was nothing but empty marketing. But then I got paranoid. After all these years of enjoying crisps have I in fact been eating counterfeit potatoes? Damn it, I want answers!
What does it all mean?
A TV advert said I had to “imagine a new level of epilation”. I tried, I really did, but I just couldn’t. Is there something wrong with me? I’m now worried. What is the next level of epilation, and why do I need to imagine it?
Lather, rinse, repeat
Whilst watching TV I drifted off to sleep during the adverts and my thoughts began to swirl wildly. Then from out of nowhere it suddenly came to me; a magical feeling, true inspiration, an epiphany: “I’m worth it“.
